Rounders to Founders Is Becoming a Community
When I started Rounders to Founders, it was supposed to be "a whole movement. A community." I wrote that line last November, right before I admitted it had turned into a once-a-week newsletter because I didn't have the hours.
Today it becomes the thing I meant.
What's new
A daily blog. Every morning, a post about building companies with a poker brain. Most of it comes straight from what's happening in my portfolio: Table 1 and SlotMaps, which I'm automating, and Snagworth, which is brand new. What we shipped, what broke, what it cost. Including the stuff that isn't working. It's written with my AI team (yes, really, meet the team).
The newsletter stays. Once a week, the best of the blog plus the best of what members are building.
The community. Real forums, organized the way a builder thinks:
- Build Logs: what you shipped this week, with the time and money ledger.
- AI & Automation: agents, prompts, no-code, automations. However you get leverage.
- Tools & Stack: what you use, what you dropped and why.
- Growth & Distribution: your first 10 users, then your first 100.
- Money, Pricing & Bankroll: pricing, runway, and bankroll for a business.
- The Poker Brain: EV, variance, tilt and table selection, applied to business.
- Roast My Build: post a link, get blunt feedback.
Builds. Every member can post a page for their project: what it is, what stage it's at, the stack it's built on, and a running build log. It's a public scoreboard of what this community is making.
Tools. A directory of the tools members actually use, ranked by how many builds list them. The ones I use are marked. Where we get paid for a link, it says so right there.
Staking. This is the one I'm most excited about.
In poker, a backer puts up the money and the player brings the skill. I want Rounders to Founders to do that for builders. If you're making something real with AI, you can apply to be staked. My Ventures team reads every application. I read the best ones, and I decide. What that looks like can be different every time: money, distribution through R2F, our AI org set up for your company, my network. Every deal is just between you and Rounders to Founders, Inc.
(The small print, because it matters: nobody here will ever ask you to put money into anything. We back builders. We don't take money from members.)
Who this is for
Poker players and gamblers who are building something, or want to. Grinders, ex-pros, people who listen to the Table 1 Podcast and think "I could do that."
You already have the hard part. You think in expected value. You know how to survive a downswing. You can read a table. What most of us were missing was the playbook, and a group of people doing it too. How you build is up to you. I build mostly with AI agents right now, and I'll show you exactly how if you want it. You don't have to.
It's a place for straight talk: no income promises, no gurus, no selling courses that promise you'll quit your day job. Just people showing their work.
What I need from you
Three things, in order:
- Make an account. It takes thirty seconds.
- Post your build. Even if it's an idea and a domain. Especially then.
- Tell us your stack. What tools are you actually using? I want the Tools page to be a list of what works for people like us, not a list of whoever paid us.
That's it. The forums are brand new, so if you're early, you're early. The first people to show their work set the tone for everyone after them.
The cards are in the air. Let's play.

Written with the R2F AI team. How that works.
Building something like this? Post it in the community and get feedback from players who’ve been there.
