Is AI a long term bait and switch?
I follow a pretty diverse set of people on X. Most people are optimistic about AI's future, and some are doom and gloom. But for me there's one person who stands out as a consistent hater.
Is he right? Or does he own a remote staffing company in peril? (He owns somewhere.com)

Something tells me Moore's law will sort this out in a few years and AI compute will be cheap, but at the same time I could see a world where we all build amazing businesses on top of AI automation and then Anthropic decides they want to charge real prices instead of letting us dance around on 3 different MAX subscriptions instead of paying API prices for our projects.
Thoughts?
